Information we collect
Information you give us:

- Quote and policy information, such as the coverage you are interested in; details about drivers, vehicles, homes, property or your business; dates of birth; driver’s license numbers; current and prior insurance; and claims history.

Information from others: to quote and service your insurance, we may receive information from the insurance companies we work with, from online insurance quote services you used to request quotes from agents like us, from the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles, from consumer reporting sources such as driving records and claims history where permitted by law, and from people you authorize, such as a member of your household on the same policy.
When you pay a bill through our Carrier Pay Directory, you pay on your insurance company’s own website, and your payment details go to that company, not to us.
How we use your information
- To prepare insurance quotes, compare insurance companies, and help you buy, change, renew or cancel a policy.
- To service your policies, including Registry of Motor Vehicles registrations, billing questions and claims assistance.
- To respond to your questions and requests by phone, email, live chat or text message.
- To send messages you have agreed to receive, such as quote follow-ups, policy updates, payment and renewal reminders, and service notifications.
- To operate, secure and improve our website, and to prevent fraud and spam.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations as a licensed insurance agency.
Text messaging (SMS and RCS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use that number to send the messages you asked for, such as quote follow-ups, policy updates and service reminders. Messages may be delivered as SMS, MMS or RCS (Rich Communication Services), depending on your device and wireless carrier. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described in this Privacy Policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging platform and wireless carriers that deliver our messages, which use it only to deliver them.
With RCS, your device may let us see features such as read receipts and typing indicators, depending on your device settings. We use this information only to carry on the conversation with you.
How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our website and access limited to the staff who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep information

- Email: use the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails, or contact us. We may still send you messages about your policies.
- Access and correction: you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Massachusetts law (M.G.L. c. 175I) gives insurance customers the right to access and correct recorded personal information.
- Deletion: you may ask us to delete personal information that we are not required to keep.

Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
